Fifth Wave's product line includes:
 Densitometer
Mac - a stand alone application that allows for the communication
of graphics arts equipment (densitometers, spectrophotometers, colorimeters,
etc.) and the Macintosh via the Macintosh serial port.
IO - A
cdev/init that performs the tasks of Densitometer Mac but invisibly in
the background. It periodically checks to see if there is data in the
Macintosh serial buffer and if so, formats the data and transports it
into the currently active application.
Convert
2 - Complete
upgrade/rewrite of the highly acclaimed Convert! Requires Mac OS 9.1
or later; built for Mac OS X. Convert 2 is simply the greatest tool available
for calculating conversions on the Macintosh. Temperature, Velocity,
Time, Radix (base), Mass, Currency, Bartending, you name it! 45 different
conversion categories are available, offering thousands of conversion
possibilities. Full support of the Mac OS including Drag and Drop, multiple
monitors, multiple conversion windows, foreign localizations, non-modal
user interface, and Mac OS X/Mac OS 9 compatibility. Convert 2 features
intelligent localization - that is, Convert 2 displays its menus in U.S.
English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, and Finnish on-the-fly
based on your installed OS localization. $15 USD license fee required,
can accept most forms of payment through Kagi's web site or by using the registration program included in the Convert 2 download. Available for download here.

a handy little utility for Macintosh PowerBook Duo owners. dButtons is
a new stand-alone control panel that allows Duo owners to alter the
behavior of their trackball buttons. dButtons will allow you to change
from single-click behaviors to one of no click, single click, double
click
or click lock. These behaviors remain constant between Shut Downs, Restarts
and Sleep sessions. Shareware fee of $5. Available via FTP.

Searcher -
one among many varied XObjs for MacroMedia Director. Searcher is a TEXT
file search engine.
